I still love this movie, Carol Burnett is divine.

Anyways, there's a great documentary about the original play:

(I watched it on Netflix.)

Me too. I wonder when they're going to come out with it in a wide-screen DVD. Last year our son bought us a version, but just like the VHS tape of it we owned, it was that nasty ol' pan-and-scan. Blech.

I watched them film parts of it. Daddy Warbucks' house was actually Woodrow Wilson's summer White House on the grounds of Monmouth University here in Jersey. I've been there many times, even took a class there.

Watched some of this movie last Friday night. My 11-year old niece was having her b'day party. My sister bought it for her because her vocal class is working on several of the songs, so she got it to practice on at home. I find this movie to be rather generational. I remember when my son was 11 (now 22) & so many little girls in his class singing songs from that movie in the talent show. I think this will be an on-going practice for years to come w/ little girls at this age. kd

This is so weird...my husband were just having a conversation about this movie not more than an hour ago.
