Would or has anyone done this? Here are fews sites that you can look for houses to swap with people for a week or so. www.digsville.com and homeexchange.com This sort of thing reminds me of the movie "The Holiday". With Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet,and Jude Law. I never knew people did this,I thought it was just made up in that movie.. I would think it would be a neat thing to do.

I would not do it. I have not done it. It could be fun, yet I know of a family that had their house picked through by thieves pretty much all day long- just pulling into the drive like they owned the place. Wouldn't it be easy for someone to scope out your house this way? Now, for any politician that's lost track of how many homes he or she owns, it could be great fun.
