Sarah, I have one of those hand-cranked Tupperware food choppers too. Don't forget there's a lifetime warranty on Tupperware if you can find someone who sells it! I've had more than one broken piece replaced for free.

Yeah, I know about the warrantee...my mom has used it often for items she has bought through the years. I might exchange it...I don't know yet. We got the food processor because we realized that what we have will just continue to break over and over because of the plastic gears. It would be a good thing to have handy for when we don't have electricity though (power outages, or camping)

I am with Manda, I put sometimes because I like to swim when the water is nice because I don't like to be cold. I also am not a person whose hair looks nice when it is wet, I look horrible. :)

I also don't breath right and when I was younger I have memories of my heart issue acting up when I swam, so it is not something I like to do.

Matter a fact, we had a built in do-boy in my back yard and it got a rip in it. In the 2 years we have been married, I can count on one hand the number of times we have swam in that pool. So when it got a rip in it, we agreed to make it grass, which is what we are in the process of doing right now.

I don't like to be cold either, and swimming pools are almost always too cold for me, so I picked sometimes.

I have to answer sometimes.

I love to swim laps in the pool and used to swim competitively in high school. I take DS to the indoor pool in the winter to swim laps from time to time.

In the summer, I like to hang around by the pool but don't swim all that much. DS asked me once why I put my bathsuit on if I'm not going to swim. Duh, to get a tan.

I'm a terrible swimmer and I hate the beach. But sometimes I'll do laps for exercise.

I've always known how to swim and I love going to the beach and playing in the waves. It's too bad we can't really swim in the pond behind our house. There is not good beach on our shoreline and the turtles and possible gators wouldn't appreciate it.

and for a question a page back, I like those little round sandwich breads.

I spend May, June, July, August and September in my swimming pool. And I've been known to be in there by mid-April and through mid-October.

I like swimming, but I don't like getting changed afterwards.

Maybe you should try skinny dipping?

I voted sometimes. I love the water, but I tend to play around in the water more than actually swim.

That would be me too.

I voted no, but my answer is more like "not really." For the most part I only go if the water is warm.

I swam competively through my late teen years. I'd LOVE to try to get myself back into shape and swim in a master's league...

Yes!
I much prefer to swim totally underwater (don't have to worry about timing your breathing then) but it's been a few years and my lung capacity isn't that great now. If I move somewhere near a pool or lake I'll definitely start up again.

I have gone skinny dipping "back in the day" but m'love never has. One of these days we might find an occassion . But it won't be easy, it'll have to be just the two of us. Way back when it was with friends and it was on a dark beach and noone did anything but swim.

LOL! We don't have a pool in our garden (most Brits don't), and that's the only place I'd ever do that - our beaches are just too public! We do have nudist beaches, or areas of larger beaches that are reserved for nude bathing, but to me that's still too public.

Lisa- I am going to make your pool poll question the one for Monday, since the one I am doing this weekend is a "time sensitive" one. OK?

3/13-14...Daylight Savings Time this weekend...
Yes, my area does participate in it this weekend
No, my area does not participate in it at all
My area does not change this weekend, it's another time
READY for the time change...yay for later evening light!!
Don't like the time change, but I get used to it eventually
I just role with whatever goes on. I don't really care.

Here in the UK our clocks don't go forward (from Greenwich Mean Time to British Summer Time) for another fortnight - Sunday 28th March.

I don't know what our state's going to do about daylight savings.

We don't change for daylight savings. I do try to pay attention to when it is though since the time difference between me and my mom changes from 2-3 hours.

We do change to DST here. But I am fine with or without the change doesn't matter to me. I do like it being light longer tho.
